Form. Function. Fun. is a speculative advertising series created as part of a design project exploring brand identity through physical construction. Using Birkenstock as the subject, each ad is composed entirely of tangible materials, including wine corks, cork board, rocks, flowers, and straps repurposed from an old pair of sandals. The series emphasizes the brand’s balance of form and function while introducing an element of play and personalization. By working with sustainable and reused materials, the project reflects Birkenstock’s values of durability, comfort, and environmental responsibility, while demonstrating how the footwear can be both practical and expressive.
