Watercolor Photo Study

This piece is a watercolor reproduction based on a photographic reference. The goal of the project was to translate photographic detail into paint while maintaining accuracy in value, color, and proportion. Emphasis was placed on careful observation, layering, and control of the watercolor medium in order to recreate the depth and clarity of the original image.
